The Finnish Cultural Institute in New York's residencies will offer a working opportunity for 13 Finnish artists, designers and architects in 2018. The FCINY has been hosting independent residencies for Finnish contemporary artists, designers and architects since its founding in 1990. The focus of the residency program lies on research, artistic dialogue and cultural exchange.

MOBIUS is a Fellowship Program for Visual Arts, Museum and Archive Professionals based in New York, United Kingdom, the Republic of Ireland and Finland.
Visual artist and documentary film director Anna Nykyri works with moving images in the fields of film industry, contemporary dance and visual arts. Her artistic works explore political and corporeal themes, addressing questions of gender, power and control. Nykyri’s works have been screened in various museums, galleries and film festivals internationally.
